Fleria Greek Café in San Juan, Puerto Rico (1754 Loiza Street; 7872680010) is an elaborate establishment serving dishes of the Greek cuisine, from spanakopita and roasted potatoes to ghalaktoboreko and baklava.

Its décor features archways, separate dining rooms, portraits and still life on the walls, with tableclothdressed dining tables, and the service is irreproachable.

A reaction from a nonGreek guest follows: ”This was my first time eating Greek food and I think the bar was set really high because the food was amazing. The staff were eager to explain all the dishes and make recommendations. We ordered the savory and the leg of lamb and both were delicious. The potato side dish is very good as well. Dinner for two including 2 glasses of wine, humus app, and baklava dessert was around $75 including tip.”

Fleria is open Tuesday through Friday, 12pm3pm/6pm10pm and Saturday 12pm10pm.
