Georgia Diner Is Queen in Queens

Demetris Kaloidis’ Georgia Diner (86-55 Queens Boulevard, Elmhurst, NY 11373; 718-651-9000), a spot named after the famous entrepreneur’s wife, was one of Kaloidis’ first establishments, long before he acquired Terrace on the Park.

Located in a much-trafficked area where Queens Boulevard meets the Long Island Expressway, Georgia Diner is a very busy spot and feeds thousands of customers daily, from breakfast to late dinner.

And a quote from a Queens official: “This place is pretty much the official diner of Queens… I’m glad that this diner still stands atop Queens boulevard and hasn’t changed.”
